Everything from cats, dogs, and birds, to taking in injured squirrels, painted turtles, and rabbits. At 19 I decided that I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself and joined the US Navy, where I met my husband. Now that we are both out of the service, we have chosen Colorado as our new home, and I am excited and humbled to be given this opportunity to be of service to our most loved and vulnerable family members.
