Dr. Amber Daub
Growing up with many pets including dogs, snakes, iguanas and rodents, Dr. Daub felt a strong connection to animals from a very young age. A Colorado native, she completed her undergraduate work at Colorado State University as a double major in Biological Sciences and Zoology. During her studies, she completed internships at a sea turtle conservation center in Costa Rica and at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs. These experiences solidified her interest in veterinary medicine. She graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2014. Dr. Daub was very excited to have the opportunity to return home to Colorado and has been part of the outstanding staff at Loving Family since July 2014.
Dr. Daub is passionate about preventative medicine and promoting the human-animal bond. Her professional interests include dentistry, behavioral therapy and senior/end of life care. She is also AAHA Animal Hospice and Palliative Care Certified. Dr. Daubs Family includes her husband Andy and her two dogs, a terrier mix named Eva and a lab mix named Nellie and their adorable daughter, Madilyn born in May of 2018. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, hiking and skiing.
Dr. Liz Bellinger
After school, Dr. Bellinger worked for a large 24 hour animal hospital in San Antonio Texas. She enjoyed emergency medicine, but she missed building relationships with clients and patients, and wanted to further pursue her interests in exotics. She then moved to her hometown, Houston Texas, and practiced in a small and exotic animal clinic. Although Dr. Bellinger is a Texas Native, she has always loved the beautiful state of Colorado. Once she researched and visited our clinic, she knew she would be a great addition to the Loving Family Animal Hospital team.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Bellinger enjoys being outdoors, traveling, hiking, white water rafting, skydiving and scuba diving. She is a reptile enthusiast and loves spending time with her family, including her furry and scaly kids.
Dr. Zachary Osterholz
It was not until he discovered his love of animal medicine and surgery, when working in a local veterinary clinic, that he began to pursue a career as a veterinarian. While in veterinary school he completed a myriad of externships and clinical rotations spanning the scope of veterinary medicine from rural Coloradan large animal practices to busy small animal practices in the heart of Chicago. Dr. Osterholz is particularly interested in small animal surgery, dentistry, and ophthalmology.
Dr. Osterholz recently moved to Aurora with his fiancé Ali, rescued black-lab mix Frank, and domestic shorthair cat Noona. When not working you may find him enjoying the immense diversity of outdoor recreational opportunities the Front Range has to offer, sipping a beer at one of Colorado’s fine breweries, or working on his latest furniture project in the shop. Dr. O hopes to advance the hospital mission by bringing enthusiasm and compassion to his work every day. He knows how incredibly privileged he is to begin his career at a hospital that is committed to providing the best client experience and highest quality of animal care possible in a comfortable family environment. Dr. O is extremely excited to meet all the amazing clients and patients at Loving Family Animal Hospital!
