Tylar is a Colorado native and was raised in Denver. She has always been passionate about animals; cats especially. Growing up with pets of her own, she knew at a young age that she wanted a career working with animals. She has three pets of her own: a 1 year Our Teamold Maltese named Gypsi, a 2 year old Lhasa Poo named Chunk, and a 4 year old orange tabby named Orion. Tylar is a Certified Veterinary Technician, having recently graduated from Pima Medical Institute in May of 2015. Now that she has finished school, Tylar wants to travel and work with a variety of animals, all while experiencing different cultures in different parts of the world. In her free time, Tylar likes to cook, read, and enjoys the outdoors.
Lead Surgery Technician/CVT
Nicole was born in California, but grew up in the beautiful state of Colorado. She attended University of Colorado in Colorado Springs for a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in ecology and evolution, as well as a minor in psychology. After finishing her undergraduate, Nicole attended veterinary technician school at the Community College of Denver and recently graduated. Nicole hope’s to one day work in an animal sanctuary with wild animals, but also has a huge interest in exotic pet’s. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors with her two dogs, Rio and Cassie. When she finds time to relax, she cuddles her cat Mooshy and loves to watch her rabbit, Roscoe, binky around the house.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Alisa grew up in New Mexico on a ranch surrounded by all types of
animals, ranging from cats and dogs to horses and rabbits. After
graduation High School she moved to Colorado to attend Bel-rae to
become a Veterinary Technician. Currently, Alisa is our Lead
Technician and enjoys supporting our team in any way she can.
She has two dogs, Waffles, a lab mix, and Booster, a chihuahua mix that tag along for the adventure. For fun, she likes to take her dogs to the park, ride horses, and watch movies. Her favorite foods are ice cream and oreos.
Lead Technician, CVT
Nick grew up just down the street in Centennial, Colorado attending Cherry Creek High School. He decided to stay in Colorado and study Integrative Physiology at the University of Colorado Boulder with the goals of pursuing a career in sports medicine. After graduating in 2015 and spending some time carefully considering what he really wanted to do with his life, he decided he would like to pursue a life treating and helping animals. He now intends to study veterinary medicine in the future, and is eager to learn as much as he can.
Nick has always loved the outdoors, and Colorado is the perfect place to hike, bike, and rock-climb. At home, he spends the vast majority of his time playing fetch with his cat Alluka, playing video games, cooking, and reading. He is also an NBA fanatic, and loves to watch stand-up comedy.
Dani is 23 years old and has dreamed of working in an environment for helping animals since she was very small.Holding onto that dream she recently graduated from Pima Medical Institute for Veterinary Assistant as her first step into the veterinary world. Her short-term goal is to start the Veterinary Technician program at Pima.
Dani's long-term goal is to become a veterinarian that is specialized in dentistry and to help as many people and animals along the way.
Dani has one daughter named Emma and two female DLH cats named Espur and Evie.
Carra was born in Steamboat Springs and grew up in San Diego. She recently moved to Denver in 2016 to pursue her dream of being a vet. She has one dog and a hedgehog, both of which are the loves of her life. In her free time she likes to hike, kayak and swim, especially when her dog joins her! Carra's goal is to be a veterinarian and to practice in Alaska.
Veterinary Assistant/Client Education Coordinator
Chris was born and raised in Kansas and considered a career with animals at an early age but decided to major in business instead. Upon graduating Chris realized he wasn't passionate about business and decided to move to Colorado to pursue a career as a certified veterinary technician. While in school Chris came to Loving Family as an assistant and completed his internship with us as well. Once he passed the national boards and became certified, Chris moved into the veterinary technician role. He stayed with us for several years before returning to Kansas for family. Two years back in Kansas was enough for him and now we are proud to say we have Chris back in Colorado and here to help our furry kiddos. Outside of work, Chris enjoys watching sports, going to the gym and lounging around with his two cats, Kitty Kitty and Shiloh.

Kristina was born in Bellingham, WA and was able to grow up in one of the most beautiful places nature has to offer, the Pacific Northwest. At the age of 22 she decided to put her passion into action by moving to Denver to attend Bel-Rea institute of animal technology. She has lived here for just over a year with her more than supportive fiancé, James, her bearded dragon, Cinnamon and just recently adopted senior DLH cat, Jack. She enjoys all nature has to offer as well as watching live music and spending time with her loved ones.
Madison was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. While loving
where she grew up, Madison is extremely excited to start the next chapter in her life here in Denver. She recently made the move to pursue a career as Veterinary Technician at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. She has two awesome cats back home, Bagheera and Raksa. During her free time she enjoys exploring her new surroundings in Colorado, cooking and spending time with friends.
Miranda was born in Monterey California but moved to Colorado when she was four. She has shared the love of the mountains, snow and camping lifestyle. Miranda has grown up owning all sorts of animals and loved each and every one of them to the moon and back. She works as a vet assistant while she is currently attending Penn Foster College to become a vet tech. She currently has two kids (cats) named Elsa and Pumpkin. If you don’t find her at work you will find her at Zumba classes, shopping or playing with her animals!
