Nicole was born in California, but grew up in the beautiful state of Colorado. She attended University of Colorado in Colorado Springs for a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with an emphasis in ecology and evolution, as well as a minor in psychology. After finishing her undergraduate, Nicole attended veterinary technician school at the Community College of Denver and recently graduated. Nicole hope’s to one day work in an animal sanctuary with wild animals, but also has a huge interest in exotic pet’s. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys spending time with family and being outdoors with her two dogs, Rio and Cassie. When she finds time to relax, she cuddles her cat Mooshy and loves to watch her rabbit, Roscoe, binky around the house.

Alisa grew up in New Mexico on a ranch surrounded by all types of animals, ranging from cats and dogs to horses and rabbits. After graduation High School she moved to Colorado to attend Bel-rae to become a Veterinary Technician. Currently, Alisa is our Lead Technician and enjoys supporting our team in any way she can.
She has two dogs, Waffles, a lab mix, and Booster, a chihuahua mix that tag along for the adventure. For fun, she likes to take her dogs to the park, ride horses, and watch movies. Her favorite foods are ice cream and oreos.

Noel, a Colorado Native, moved to Nebraska when he was in high school. Upon graduation he attended the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture where he obtained an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. In 2011, he moved back to Colorado to complete an internship with a Parrot Rescue Group and has been enjoying living back here ever since. Noel loves the opportunity to work with a wide variety of animals and has a passion for exotics especially birds. At home, Noel looks forward to spending time with his furry and feathered kiddos: two dogs, Louis and Olive; an African Grey, Matilda; a Dusky Capped Conure, Leo; and a Budgie named Ernie Fox.

Dani is 23 years old and has dreamed of working in an environment for helping animals since she was very small. Holding onto that dream she recently graduated from Pima Medical Institute for Veterinary Assistant as her first step into the veterinary world. Her short-term goal is to start the Veterinary Technician program at Pima.
Dani's long-term goal is to become a veterinarian that is specialized in dentistry and to help as many people and animals along the way.
Dani has one daughter named Emma and two female DLH cats named Espur and Evie.

Carra was born in Steamboat Springs and grew up in San Diego. She recently moved to Denver in 2016 to pursue her dream of being a vet. She has one dog and a hedgehog, both of which are the loves of her life. In her free time she likes to hike, kayak and swim, especially when her dog joins her! Carra's goal is to be a veterinarian and to practice in Alaska.
Veterinary Assistant/Client Education Coordinator
Madison was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. While loving where she grew up, Madison is extremely excited to start the next chapter in her life here in Denver. She recently made the move to pursue a career as Veterinary Technician at Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology. She has two awesome cats back home, Bagheera and Raksa. During her free time she enjoys exploring her new surroundings in Colorado, cooking and spending time with friends.
Miranda was born in Monterey California but moved to Colorado when she was four. She has shared the love of the mountains, snow and camping lifestyle. Miranda has grown up owning all sorts of animals and loved each and every one of them to the moon and back. She works as a vet assistant while she is currently attending Penn Foster College to become a vet tech. She currently has two kids (cats) named Elsa and Pumpkin. If you don’t find her at work you will find her at Zumba classes, shopping or playing with her animals!

Michelle has lived in several places around the United States, but decided to move to Colorado after a school trip helped her "fall in love with the sky". She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 2015. Michelle had worked in a dog daycare, wildlife rehabilitation center, and another veterinary hospital before deciding she wanted to work with more exotics and finding herself at LFAH. She has six pets at the moment- the puppies Butterscotch, Kida, and Kuko, the kitten Anya, and Atticus and Barnaby the hedgehogs. In her free time Michelle loves to work on art projects and crafts, explore the outdoors with friends, play video games, experience new things, and spend time with her loved ones.

Emilie was born and raised in Colorado and has always had a love and interest in animals. Starting in elementary school, she volunteered at a veterinary hospital and in her spare time enjoyed dressing up in lab coats as a veterinarian for Halloween. She re-directed her career path toward theatre and graduated from George Washington High School in the International Baccalaureate program. She then went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s of Art in Theatre from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. Moving back to Denver, she realized how much she still loved working with animals and decided to start school to be a veterinary technician at Community College of Denver. At home she has three wonderfully silly cats: Boo (the queen bee), Bramble (the lazy lion), and Vinnie (the spaz). In her spare time she loves reading fiction/fantasy books, watching movies, cooking/baking, going to the Rockies games, and solving escape rooms with friends.

Andy was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado. He has always had a passion for animals and loves giving them all the care, love and affection they deserve. He hopes to dive deeper with animal care and one day move towards physical therapy and rehabilitation with animals. When not working, he enjoys spending time with his three dogs Comet, Bandit and Bruin and enjoying all the beauty Colorado has to offer.
Sam was born and raised in Connecticut, but chose to go away to school in Kentucky at Murray State University. She graduated with a B.S in Agriculture in 2018, focusing on vet tech/pre vet classes, with the intent to apply to vet school. She hopes to one day work with in the field of orthopedics and rehabilitation, who knows with what animals yet! No little furry kiddos of her own yet, but the time is coming soon. In her free time she likes to cross stitch, hike, play disc golf, run and cook.
Mamie graduated in 1988 from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Her background in human physical therapy was in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine with a manual therapy emphasis. Since receiving her certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist in 2011, she has practiced exclusively with animals. In 2013, she started her own mobile canine rehabilitation practice, Dog Rehab Works, LLC, based in Aurora, CO. She is a faculty member at Canine Rehabilitation Institute where she teaches evidence based concepts and principles of rehabilitation to veterinarians, physical therapists and veterinary technicians.
Kayla grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska and moved to Colorado in order to attend school at Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology. She previously worked at a boarding facility in Fairbanks and has always been drawn to animals. Now that she has graduated school and started working at LFAH she gets to live her dream and see everyone’s amazing animals every day! In her free time Kayla enjoys drinking black coffee, reading, listening to Broadway musicals, and taking pictures of her beautiful cat son, Puck!
