Loving Family Animal Hospital is currently designated as a Cat-Friendly Practice© by the American Association of Feline Practitioners©!! Our staff has worked hard to obtain additional feline behavior and medical training, and the doctors have created new protocols to achieve this designation. As a result, the AAFP has determined we demonstrate an exceptional level of feline medicine and surgery, and we have steps in place to ensure your cat’s trip to the hospital will be as stress-free as possible.

For instance, we now have separate feline and canine reception areas to ensure our more rambunctious canine patients are not causing excess stress with their barking or sniffing of carriers. Additionally, did you know that cats love whipped cream?! During procedures that can cause stress, like blood draws and vaccinations, we have found that a little dollop of whipped cream can be a fantastic distraction that makes everything go so much smoother.
